- Request For Information (RFI) SPE600-17-R-5X05 is seeking storage for a minimum of 800,000 barrels of JP8/JA-1 on the island of Japan. DLA Energy is seeking information on industry capabilities/interest/potential sources for the Receipt, Storage, additive injection, and Issue military specification grade Aviation Turbine Fuel Grade JP-8/JA-1. Within the following geographic area: On the Island of Japan. This announcement constitutes a Request for Information (RFI) only; there is no solicitation at this time. The Government is neither negotiating nor calling for offers at this time. This announcement is an expression of interest only and does not commit the Government to pay for any response preparation cost. The Government will not make an award on the basis of this RFI.
