- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the Federal Correctional Complex located in Hopewell, VA (FCC Petersburg). Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed output. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided include inpatient/outpatient facility services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services (on-sites). The requested on-sites are as follows: Cardiologist Endocrinologist General Surgeon Infectious Disease Ophthalmologist Orthopedic Surgeon Psychiatrist Urologist Optometrist Oral Surgeon The resulting contract will be a requirements type contract with firm fixed unit pricing and shall consist of a base year and four option years for renewal. The estimated quantities for each performance period are as follows: Base Year: Inpatient Days: 825 estimated days Outpatient Visits: 1000 estimated visits Option Year 1: Inpatient Days: 825 estimated days Outpatient Visits: 1000 estimated visits Option Year 2: Inpatient Days: 825 estimated days Outpatient Visits: 1000 estimated visits Option Year 3: Inpatient Days: 825 estimated days Outpatient Visits: 1000 estimated visits Option Year 4: Inpatient Days: 825 estimated days Outpatient Visits: 1000 estimated visits The solicitation will be made available on/or about December 26, 2016, will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/, and is anticipated to have a response time of about 60 days from the time of the solicitation posting. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is February 20, 2017. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. Faith Based and Community Based Organizations can submit proposals equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
