- Description
- The 49th Contracting Squadron at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico is currently seeking potential sources for a non-personal services contract to provide repair of a Kardex Remstar Vertical Storage Carousel (VSR). The system is inoperative. Repair is expected to involve replacement of CPU and OP keypad and system testing. Special Requirements : All components and systems proposed by the contractor must be compatible with the proprietary systems incorporated by Kardex Remstar. SUBMISSION : Firms responding to this sources sought notice are also requested to provide the 49th Contracting Squadron with capability statements limited to three pages, which must include at a minimum: -Company Name -Point of contact name, number, and email address -Be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) -Business size status (8(a), Small Business, Hubzone, Woman-owned, Large Business, etc.) -Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code Submit capabilities statement via e-mail to jennifer.sternthal.1@us.af.mil, no later than 1600 Mountain Standard Time (MST) on Friday, 9 December 2016. NOTICE : This is not a solicitation announcement. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Quote, Request for Proposal, or Invitation for Bids, nor does it restrict the 49th Contracting Squadron to an ultimate acquisition approach. No contract is anticipated to be awarded from this announcement and requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of market research being conducted by the 49th Contracting Squadron to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling all requirements associated with repairing the Kardex Remstar Vertical Storage Carousel (VSR).
