- Amendment to T-solicitation # W81XWH-17-T-0036 This requirement is solicited as brand name or equal to LYNX Model 530LXi Tunnel Cage Washer. The Offeror shall submit a quote for the Tunnel Cage Washer to meet all of the salient characteristics listed in this document. In accordance with FAR Provision 52.211-6 - Brand Name or Equal, offers of "equal" products must be clearly identified by brand name and make or model number and shall meet the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristic specified in this solicitation. The Contracting Officer will evaluate "equal" products on the basis of information furnished by the Offeror or identified in the offer and reasonably available to the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in the offer. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W81XWH-17-T-0036. The solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-91 are incorporated. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 333999 and the size standard is 500 employees. All qualified vendors are encouraged to submit a quote. USAMRAA on behalf of the US Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD), requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing one (1) Tunnel Cage Washer. Attached is Applicable Clauses and Provisions, Architectural layout and pictures of the room where equipment will be installed. This is an Amendment 01 dated 02 Dec 2016- the included MECS, deliverly date and instructions to offeror changed slightly to reflect updates.
