Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO) is conducting Market Research on behalf of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Durham, North Carolina through this sources sought notice to help determine the availability of qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), or Small Businesses (SB) to provide an Area Heat Stress Monitor. This requirement shall be compatible with 3M s Detection Management Software (DMS) at the VAMC Durham and must be Brand Name or equal to the 3M QT-46-3 Area Heat Stress Monitor/3-Sensor/6" Globe/Waterless Wet Bulb. Area Heat Stress Monitor/3-Sensor/6" Globe/Waterless Wet Bulb (1EA) The QT-46-3 Area Heat Stress Monitoring system provides wet bulb dry globe temperature in areas occupied by staff personnel for work and exercise. The system provides real-time data with time stamping and recording features. It also features a stay time display in order to manage work/rest regiments. The Area Heat Stress monitor must be 100% compatible with the 3M Detection Management Software (DMS) at the Durham VAMC to allow for analysis of data with charting, graphing, and reporting options. The capability statements received from this market research are for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The Government will not assume any costs incurred by the contractor in the preparation of responses.
