- Amendment 0002 12/2/16 Issued Amendment 0002 extending the closing date to 12/6/16 in order to update the Purchase Description. Copy of amendment is attached. ** 08/25/16 Issued Amendment 0001 extending the closing date to 9/12/16 and providing information on the dust containment barrier. Copy of amendment is attached. ** DLA Aviation Richmond is issuing a Sole-Source solicitation to procure four each 5 axis machining centers manufactured by Makino, Inc with an option to procure a fifth machining center. The requirement includes the necessary foundations/base for each machine, rigging/installation, IUID tags, technical data, training and shipping. Technical data package DLA-A-VIBB-14-16-1020 is included as a part of the solicitation. Request for Proposal SPM4A8-15-R-0001 is sole sourced to Makino, Inc, CAGE code 1U6D3. Alternate Offers will not be accepted for this requirement. The solicitation is intended to result in a Firm, Fixed Price Contract with requested completion in 365 days ARO. FOB will be at Destination with Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. The solicitation will issue on 08/03/2016 and close on 09/06/2016. This synopsis serves to meet the requirements to post solicitations as the RFP is NOT available on DIBBS. Offers shall be evaluated utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Offer source selections process. Technical acceptability is a pass/fail determination.
