- Formal Justification The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Allenwood, PA awarded a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-2, Unusual and compelling urgency. This requirement was awarded to Geisinger Medical Systems, 100 N. Academy Ave. Danville, PA 17822. This award covers high trauma and specialty medical service requirements for inmates incarcerated at FCC Allenwood, PA. Due to the nature of this requirement, these particular services can only be met through the Geisinger Medical Systems' Danville, PA location. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations as no solicitation document is available. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been certified and approved for the Geisinger Medical Center and is attached. Inquiries may be directed to dzwilliams@bop.gov.
