- SAQMMA17R0037 Solicitation Package The Bureau of Medical Services is requesting a Contractor to provide Continuing Nurses and Medical Education (CNE/CME) training to Foreign Service Medical Specialists, Locally Employed medical providers and Locally Employed nurses serving at health units in embassies and consulates overseas. This training is required in order for the providers and nurses to maintain their medical licenses and certification. There is a need for the medical professionals, which include Regional Medical Officers (Physicians and Psychiatrists), Medical Providers (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants), and locally employed providers and nurses who work for the Bureau of Medical Services to retain their medical and nursing licensure on a yearly basis. In order to accomplish this, the Bureau of Medical Services holds two training seminars annually for providers and nurses. The first seminar will take place from February 6-17, 2017; the second training seminar will be held from February 27-March 10, 2017, both in Lisbon, Portugal.
