A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on Tuesday, 13 December from 2:00pm - 3:00pm, EST via teleconference. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Jacksonville Harbor Maintenance Dredging, 40-Foot Project, Bar Cut-3 Through Cut-9, Duval County, Florida The subject project is located in Jacksonville Harbor in Duval County, Florida. The scope of work consists of maintenance dredging at various locations from Bar Cut-3 through Cut-9 to a depth of 40 feet plus an allowable 2-foot overdepth. Material resulting from this work will be placed in Upland Disposal Area Bartram Island Cell A. Incidental work includes endangered species and turbidity monitoring. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The request for proposal will be issued on 05 December 2016 and proposals will be due on 20 December 2016. The award of the task order will be made on the basis of Lowest Price Technical Acceptable (LPTA). The technical evaluation factors are availability of technically acceptable plant and equipment and past performance under GROUP 4 DREDGING POOL. See attached request for proposal for submission requirements. The request for proposal will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website (Fed Biz Opps) at https://www.fbo.gov. In order to receive notification of issued amendments/revisions, firms must REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION on Fed Biz Opps. If you are not registered, the Government is not responsible for providing you with notification of any changes to this solicitation. NAICS Code 237990, size standard $20 million. NOTE: The compressed 15-day advertisement period is due to the increased shoaling that could necessitate the need for draft restrictions on cargo vessels entering and exiting the federal navigation channel.
