- The National Park Service is issuing a concessions prospectus on November 29, 2016 for thirteen (13) concession contracts for the rental of canoes, kayaks, rafts, tubes, and providing associated shuttle services. The Director, pursuant to 36 CFR Part 51, has determined that the existing thirteen (13) concessioners are preferred offerors for these contracts. The term of each new concession contract will be for ten (10) years. In order to be evaluated and considered for award of the concession contract, any proposal, including that of the existing concessioners, must be received by the Concessions Program Manager, National Park Service, Midwest Regional Office, 601 Riverfront Drive, Omaha, Nebraska 68102 by 4:00 p.m. (Central Time) on March 1, 2017, as outlined in the Proposal Instructions of the prospectus. The prospectus is available for review and downloading at: https://concessions.nps.gov/prospectuses.htm If you retrieve a copy of the prospectus from the website please notify Ms. Simmons at tracy_simmons@nps.gov so you can be placed on a mailing list to receive modifications and other correspondence regarding this prospectus. Bound copies are available at the cost of $30 which covers the cost of printing and express delivery. If a bound copy is preferred, a check or money order (no cash or credit accepted) must be payable to the National Park Service and sent to Tracy Simmons, Concessions Management Specialist, National Park Service, Midwest Regional Office, 601 Riverfront Drive, Omaha, Nebraska 68102.
