- The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 5 National Stock Numbers (NSNs). These items support several Weapon Systems, being the Highest Priority Weapon Systems the Catapult/Arresting Gear (Weapon System Designator Code (WSDC) 82N), T56 Aircraft Engine (WSDC BHF), and Los Angeles Class SSN (688) Submarine (WSDC EXN). This will be an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) with a three year base period and two, one year, option periods. Options are exercised at the discretion of the government. The total duration based plus option years shall not exceed 5 years. Items may be shipped to various stock locations within CONUS and OCONUS. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the Request for Proposal (RFP). North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code and Business Size Standard: NAICS 335314 and number of employees 750. Type of Set-Aside: Small Business Full and Open Competition After the Exclusion of Sources 10 U.S.C. 2304. Freight on Board (FOB) Origin is required. Inspection/Acceptance points will be on the RFP. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 12/16/2016. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Military and commercial specifications cannot be provided by DLA Land and Maritime. Hard copies are not available. Drawings will be available with solicitation if applicable. Drawings can be downloaded by authorized users from the cFolder website: https://pcf1.bsm.dla.mil/cfolders/. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, delivery and any other factors as listed in the solicitation. One or more of these items under this acquisition may be subject to Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979.
