Description: REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) REGARDING: Bell 206B Jet Ranger III Ground Based Training in support of the Chief of Naval Air Training 冱 (CNATRA 冱) TH-57B/C Helicopter flight training program. Summary: The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) is seeking information to support necessary simulation improvements in order to both improve and extend CNATRA 冱 TH-57B/C Helicopter pilot training program until arrival of the Navy 冱 Advanced Helicopter Training System (TH-XX). This effort is independent of TH-XX and is intended to support CNATRA 冱 current TH-57B/C training requirements until TH-XX Ground Based Training System (GBTS) full operational capability. There is increasing fleet demand for rotary wing aviators. In order to supply this demand, CNATRA needs to both increase its TH-57B/C GBTS event capacity and simulation fidelity. The purpose of this RFI is to both provide industry information regarding the Government 冱 efforts and also to gather industry feedback so that the Government can decide upon a course of action.
