Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6, Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center, Richmond, VA, IAW FAR 6.302-1 intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Sebia, Inc, 1705 Corporate Drive, Norcross, GA 30093. The Contractor will provide reagent rental to include procurement of consumables and service agreement for on-site instrumentation aiding in the diagnosis of monoclonal gammopathies and multiple myeloma at the Hunter Holmes McGuire VAMC, 1201 Broad Rock Blvd, Richmond, VA 23249. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of twelve (12) months with four (4) pre-priced one year options for renewal. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. It is not a solicitation or request for offers; however, interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT 21 September, 2016 at 3:00 PM EST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered.
