Chattanooga National Cemetery (CNC) requests the purchase of a Skid Mounted Water Tank with Engine Driven Pump and Water Cannon with all labor and supplies to mount in the Cemetery's 2005 Chevrolet C7500 Dump Truck with interior bed dimensions 106 inches in Length, 84 Inches Overall Wide, 80 inches wide at base of bed: Construction Large radii tank shell with dished and flanged tank heads, Tank must fully fit inside truck bed. Capacity (1500) U.S. gallons, single compartment Tank heads (0.1644) in. high strength low alloy Baffle(s) (0.1644) in. high strength low alloy Tank shell (0.1644) in. high strength low alloy Double bottom (0.25) in. full length double bottom Overflow (3) in. nominal diameter over flow pipe Long sills Full length reinforced steel long sills Long sill gussets Located under each baffle on the outside of the long sills for off-road service Long sill end caps Located under tank heads at each end of the tank Man way Top mounted (20) in. diameter man way with (10) in. vented fill lid Outlet (3) in. pipe with gruvlok connection Sight level gauge Full height vinyl sight tube located on the front tank head Hydrant fill (3) in. hydrant fill connection with anti-siphon air gap located curb side rear Pump base Pump and engine base are an integral part of the tank long sills Engine and Pump base may not extend past the bed end more than 24 inches Lifting eyes Tank Lifting eyes installed to tank top with eyes for securing in bed with chain binders. Matching mounts should be welded into the truck bed to allow for secure mounting. WATER PUMPING SYSTEM Pump (3 x 3) centrifugal pump with run dry capability with Minimum (13) HP engine and (12) VDC electric start Minimum Capability of 100 Gallons per Minute at 50PSI Battery (12) VDC battery and cables Suction piping (3) in. suction piping including a strainer, shut-off valve to isolate pump from tank, and gravity drains at low points. Discharge piping (3) in. power and gravity discharge piping with quick coupler and cap Hose reel Spring rewind reel w/(50) ft. of (1.50) in. hose and adjustable nozzle Water cannon Water cannon, located above water tank. Spray pattern should reach Minimum 100ft spray reach with Fog capability. Joystick installed in the truck cab controls the water cannon up/down, rotation, and water spray pattern functions. FINISH COATINGS Preparation All surfaces are mechanically cleaned and chemically washed Primer Body components are primed using epoxy primer Finish paint Body components are finish painted using (2) coats of baked on acrylic urethane White in color. Tank interior Tank interior is shot blasted and coated with an epoxy rust inhibitor paint This equipment is to be mounted in the Cemetery supplied vehicle onsite at the Chattanooga National Cemetery, 1200 Bailey Ave Chattanooga TN 37404 within 90 days of award. Vendor must demonstrate all functions as working for acceptance and provide a 1 year warranty from date of acceptance on all parts and workmanship of the unit and modifications to the Cemetery supplied vehicle.
