- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution FCI McKean intends to award sole source procurement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Fullington Trailways for the provision of transportation of inmates upon release from our FCI and camp facility. The period of performance for this procurement will be October1, 2016 through September 30, 2017. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. Other vendors who believe they can meet the requirement may provide written notification to the contracting officer by closing date of notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in detail to demonstrate the ability of the vendor to supply services that will meet the requirement in a satisfactory manner. Vendors must also provide references and show competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated. However, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Interested firms must provide a capability statement with the following information: company name, address, point of contact, telephone and fax number, email addresses, business size, and DUNS number. Firms must be registered with the Systems Award Management System. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Fullington Trailways. Responses may be emailed by the deadline stated above. The Government will not be responsible for any costs in the preparation of responses to this announcement.
