- Schedule Of Metals -- this is where you will input your pricing. This document must be 100% complete. Please return to this office in Excel format. Synopsis/Solicitation - Metals BPA -- this is the solicitation document. Please read it for details and return the appropriate documents to this office. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items (raw metals) prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Maintenance Support Contracting Branch (AFSC/PZIM) at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, intends to negotiate a firm fixed price Blanket Purchase Agreement for the acquisition of raw metals per the attached schedule. The period of performance for this requirement is no more than 2 years from the date of award. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Government intends to award up to three BPAs; however the Government reserves the right to award less than three BPAs, or none at all. Contractor is required to sign page 2 of this document and return it to the issuing office along with a completed Schedule of Metals RFQ price sheet. Note: The combined synopsis/solicitation has two pages and then the actual solicitation starts with page 3. Proposal Submission Information Proposals are due by 22 Sep 2016, 11:59 PM Central Standard Time (CST), Tinker AFB, OK. Please email your proposal to Marc J. Kreienbrink, Contracting Officer, at marc.kreienbrink.1@us.af.mil EVALUATION OF RESPONSES Award will be conducted and evaluated under the provisions of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items. The responsible offerors must be registered in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database (available at: https://www.sam.gov ) system per FAR 52.212-3, and submit a completed copy of the Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with their proposal. Lack of registration in SAM will render that Contractor ineligible for award. Clauses 52.212-1 and 52.212-2 provide instructions for submitting proposals.
