- Sources Sought Notice for Information Only: This Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for a Quote (RFQ). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Letterkenny Army Depot is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources. Negative replies are also sought. Letterkenny Army Depot is seeking information concerning the availability of contractors to provide the following two parts: Control Module, P/N: 25-30-0041 and Parts Kit Heater, P/N: 20-10-0039. The anticipated Period of Performance is a 12-month Base Period and three 12-month Option Periods. Upon review of industry response to this Sources Sought Synopsis, the Government will determine whether to solicit on a sole source basis, set-aside, or full and open competition. All contractors interested in supplying this service may indicate their interest in this potential acquisition by supplying responses that should include: (1) Identification of company size status, certifications, i.e. 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, small business (2) Proof of experience and capability to manufacture and supply the parts listed above. (3) Indication of which North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code(s) your company usually performs under Government contracts. For the purposes of the RFI, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336992 - Military Armored Vehicle, Tank, and Tank Component Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1500. If your firm is capable of the requirements described in this RFI, please provide a Capability Statement to Ms. Kristin E. Robson, Kristin.e.robson.civ@mail.mil, by 27 September 2016, 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time. The government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. Hard copies of documents posted on FBO will not be made available.
