- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to award a competitive Cost Plus Fixed Fee order for shipboard alterations for removal and installation services for NAVAIR Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Aviation Data Management and Control Systems (ADMACS) onboard the CVN-74 (USS John C. Stennis). Installation of this ALRE system shall be accomplished during the CVN-74's Planned Incremental Availability 2 (PIA2). The procurement will be competed amongst small business Alteration Installation Team (AIT) Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) holders (N68335-12-G-0063, N68335-12-G-0064, N68335-12-G-0067, N68335-15-G-0017 and N68335-16-G-0011). The BOAs were issued under solicitation N68335-12-R-0050 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website. The requirement will be for material and services including work in the following areas: Quality Assurance (QA), System Removal, Packaging and Shipping, Debris/Hazardous Material Disposition, System Installation, Structural Work, Welding, Non-Destructive Testing, Electrical/Electronics, Piping/Plumbing, Fire Watch, Painting and Pre-Installation Checkout. Period of Performance for the contract will be through 17 August 2017. The NAICS code associated with this requirement is 336611. Only current small business AIT BOA holders will be able to compete for this requirement. All responsible sources, who have not currently submitted for an AIT BOA or who do not currently hold a AIT BOA, are encouraged to submit a capability statement in response to this announcement, and in accordance with Solicitation N68335-12-R-0050, if they would like to compete for future ship installation requirements.
