- This requirement will be solicited on a sole source basis from Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (Cage Code: 1LTU5). FOB: Origin; A written RFP will be issued. The anticipated Date of Award is 30 December 2016. The resulting award will be a new long term IDIQ Type Contract. This requirement is for the acquisition of two electronic components in support of the AN/ALQ-161A Electronic Counter Measures System for the B1-B Aircraft as follows: 0001 : NSN: 5998-01-204-3818EW, Part Number: 150-027840-004, Noun: Electronic Component. End Item: Regulator Tube Assembly Band 6 Transmitter/Antenna. Quantity: 1 - 6 for first production ordering period followed by four production ordering periods when required for an additional quantity of 1 each. - 5 each units can be ordered as required. 0002 : NSN: 5998-01-263-9940EW, Part Number: 150-027831-006, Noun: Electronic Component. End Item: Band 7 Transmitter/Amplifier ; First Article. Quantity: 2 followed by five production ordering periods when required for an additional quantity of 1 each - 5 each units can be ordered as required. Estimated Delivery: 180 Calendar days ARO order for all production ordering periods ; Ship To: SW3119; All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered as ongoing market research by the agency. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement and/or ongoing market research.
