- The closing date and time is extended to September 19, 2016 (12:00 noon EST.). Contractor shall provide all qualified labor, tools, equipment and materials to replace air conditioner system in Weight Room located in Building 33 D-Bay at the Defense Supply Center Richmond, 8000 Jefferson Davis Highway, Richmond, VA 23297. Contractor shall provide a new indoor air handler unit, outdoor condensing unit, interconnecting refrigerant lines, thermostat, and new electric power from existing disconnects to new equipment units The magnitude of this construction project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. Request for Quotation package will be issued on Sep. 7, 2016. The closing date for the RFQ is September 16, 2016 by 3:00 pm. The applicable NAICS Code is 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors) with a Small Business Size Standard $15 million. Estimated performance time is 90 days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This request is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. All relevant solicitation documents, including statement of work, may be accessed for download beginning on the date of issue at the following site: http://www.fbo.gov. All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management database through www.SAM.gov in order to receive a federal government contract.
