- AMENDMENT NOTICE:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is N6884216RC0061J and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89-1. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 322211 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees.This requirement is unrestricted and only qualified offerors may submit quotes.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2016-09-16 15:30:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be Yorktown, VA 23608 The FLC - Norfolk requires the following items, Purchase Description Determined by Line Item, to the following: LI 001: 15 Bay Extended height Stak System, 2,000 LB capacity, consisting of (30) sections of racking utilizing (180) 42" wide X 48" deep flow though pallet with magnetic labels, Manual Mast & Bridge, Mast floor lock, Mast rotation restraint and Mast & column pallet locator features. Further specifications are: - Overall Height: 17 ft. 11 5/16 inches **Must be 3 inches lower than the lowest ceiling obstruction** - Overall Width: 16 ft. 3 inches - Overall Length: 59 ft. 9 inches - Color: Dark Blue - 180 Pallet Shelves - Dual 15 Bay Stacker System - Electrical Voltage characteristics are: 208/230/460 Volts, 3 Phase, 60 Hertz. - Contractor shall provide a one (1) manufacturer's warranty for the 15 Bay Stack System to include defects in material and repair. The manufacturer's warranty shall provide repair or replacement of 15 Bay Stack System that become inoperative as a result of defect in material or workmanship., 1, EA; LI 002: Installation/Assembly, 1, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, FLC - Norfolk intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing quotes, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction.
