- The Joint Operational Medicine Information System (JOMIS) Program Management Office (PMO) is holding its second Industry Day, tentatively scheduled on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. The event will be from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the George Washington's Mount Vernon Smith Auditorium (Building 5 of Mount Vernon map), 3200 Mount Vernon Memorial Highway, Mount Vernon, VA 22121. The objectives of this event are to: (1) Discuss progress on JOMIS Future Increments since the April 2016 JOMIS Industry Day event; (2) Share the program's strategy for deployment, training, and change management; (3) Discuss plans for acquiring sustainment services for the Theater Medical Information Program - Joint (TMIP-J) legacy software applications; and (4) Provide a Question and Answer Session. The date and location is subject to change, and any changes will be posted as an update to this announcement. Registration begins at 8:30AM and the Industry Day session begins at 9:00AM. As space is limited to 200 participants, we request that you limit the number of individuals attending to a maximum of three (3). We will post registration information, details on the response requirements, and the agenda at a later date. During the Industry Day session, the government will provide information and answer questions regarding the JOMIS program. Government representatives will be better able to answer questions submitted prior to Industry Day; however, we will still accept written questions at Industry Day. We will post the questions and government responses discussed during the event as an amendment to this announcement upon conclusion of the event, but will not publicize originations that posed the questions. Questions and responses will be used as part of the government's continuous information exchange on the JOMIS effort. Industry may submit questions via the registration website once registration opens. This announcement is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue a RFP in the future. This request does not commit the Government to contract for any supplies or services whatsoever. No reimbursement will be made to companies for any costs incurred in developing information for or participating in Industry Day.
