- 17.The National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIH/NIAID), intends to procure Leica Cerebro on a sole source. The solicitation number for this acquisition is NIAID-NOI-16B1803160 and the solicitation is being issued as Notice of Intent. Leica Microsystems is the only known vendor able to provide this equipment. This acquisition will be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is not a Small Business set aside, however, small, small disadvantage, minority, veteran owned, and HUD zone companies, etc. are encouraged to submit quotes. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334516, which has a size standard of 1000. Line Item#/Description/Quantity: 1)Leica CEREBRO Sample Tracking Solution, Qty of 1 All responsible sources who feel they can meet these requirements shall submit their capabilities that will be considered. The government reserves the right to make a decision whether this requirement is available for competition. The Period of Performance will be 12 months from the date of award. Offers must be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET), September 20 2016.
