- Description
- Sole Source Justification Congressional Research Services (CRS) within the Library of Congress (LOC) requires hotel accommodations and conference facility space. Hotel accommodations and conference facility space must be located very close to the Williamsburg historical district so that CRS can fulfill the Committee on House Administration's requirement that Williamsburg, Virginia serve as the site of the New Member Seminar (Seminar). The U.S. Capitol Police may have to provide security for the Members of Congress and their families attending the Seminar. LOC intends to issue this requirement as a sole source purchase order to Colonial Williamsburg Company located in Williamsburg, Virginia. See the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW) and Justification and Approval for details. Any firm that wishes to be considered for this requirement must submit a capability statement that demonstrates its ability to meet all the requirements described in the attached draft SOW. The capability statement must not exceed five (five) double-spaced pages and shall include the following information: 1) Company Name, DUNS Number, Address, Point of Contact, phone number and email address, 2) Corporate structure (corporation, LLC, sole proprietorship, partnership, limited liability partnership, professional corporation, etc.), 3) References, including name, phone number and email address of individuals who can verify the demonstrated capabilities identified in the responses, and 4) Resumes for key personnel that would work on the contract for individuals with knowledge and experience relevant to the requirement described in the draft Statement of Work (Resumes are not counted as part of the 5 page limit for capability statements). In accordance with LC06.305, Availability of the Justification, the Justification and Approval to issue a sole-source Purchase Order to Colonial Williamsburg Company is posted with this notice.
