- Description
- The Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region has a requirement for wire and cables. FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized for this requirement. The solicitation (Request for Quotes) will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 331420; Size Standard is 1000 employees. The NAICS code for this requirement is not waived under the SBA s non-manufacturer class waiver list. See FAR 19.102(f). Nonmanufacturer rule means that a contractor under a small business set-aside or 8(a) contract shall be a small business under the applicable size standard and shall provide either its own product or that of another domestic small business manufacturing or processing concern (see 13 CFR 121.406). The solicitation (Request for Quotes) will be issued electronically on or about September 15, 2016.
