- 16T0227_sol N00164-16-T-0227 - SOLE SOURCE - SINGLE BOARD COMPUTER - FSC 5999 - NAICS 334419 Issue Date 15 SEP 2016 - Closing Date 20 SEP 2016 - Time 3:00 P.M. EDST The solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures of FAR 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202 (a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-16-T-0227 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT The Navy intends to solicit and negotiate this contract as a Sole Source Procurement. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Brand Name - CURTIS-WRIGHT, CAGE CODE OBYC3, 20130 Lakeview Center Plaza, Suite 200, Ashburn VA 20147. All other offeror's may submit a quote that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract resulting from this solicitation. ITEM DESCRIPTION - Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for: CLIN 0001 - Single Board Computer, DMV-181-2880-03 500 MHz 7410 CPU, 2 Mbytes L2 cache, 1 Gbyte of SDRAM, 128 Mbytes Flash, 32 Kilobytes nvSRAM, two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet, two EIA-232 channels, two EIA-422/485 channels, 8-bit SCSI interface, 1 USB 1.1 port pin-out mode 1, other standard features per datasheet conduction-cooled, level 200.Six(6) SCSI and PMC VI/O circuit fuses removed. Includes PABs FLASH substitute QUANTITY: 5 Each IAW Performance Specifications. Delivery: Require FOB Destination to Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane, Indiana 47522. The solicitation attachments will be posted to FedBizOpps at the same time the solicitation is posted. FedBizOpps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. The anticipated award Date is Sept 20th, 2016 Quoters - Please note before preparing your quote, carefully review ALL SECTIONS. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor, FedBizOpps for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offeror's that provide a quote will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). The solicitation will be available for download on 15 September 2016. Closing date will be on 20 SEP 2016, by 3:00 P.M. EDST. This notice is a synopsis and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy to procure subject equipment, all changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps.
