- Description
- NASA/Shared Services Center has a requirement for Trust Transformation Courses. NASA/Shared Services Center intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Franklin Covey, Salt Lake City, UT, 84119 under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B). It has been determined that Franklin Covey has sole proprietorship of the course, Leading at the Speed of Trust, and Follow-up Accountability Sessions. The period of performance will be from October 03, 2016 through March 31, 2017. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89. The Government intends to acquire commercial items and services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The NAICS Code is 611430, Professional and Management Development Training. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on September 19, 2016. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
