- COMAC Wheel Lathe PWS THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The Ogden Air Logistics Center Contracting Directorate is conducting market research to determine the existence of potential small business sources to perform a one time service to install lathe elevator components on a Contemporary Machinery and Engineering Services, Inc., Model# PL-200, Serial # 901414 wheel lathe at Hill Air Force Base (HAFB), Utah. The information in this notice is based on the best and most current information available to date. This information is subject to change and is not binding to the Government. Updated information will be provided in future announcements and posted electronically on the Federal Business opportunities homepage at www.fbo.gov. The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this request for information. The Ogden Air Logistics Center Contracting Directorate (AFMC), HAFB, Utah, intends to issue a formal RFP in October 2016 timeframe for the acquisition of requirement description services performed at HAFB, Utah. The Contractor shall provide required personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, services, and travel (as necessary) to the replace both left and right elevator pinions, and left and right elevator gear racks in order to bring the Contemporary Machinery and Engineering Services, Inc., Model# PL-200, Serial # 901414 back to operational condition. The Contractor shall demonstrate a function check to show fully operational condition. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811310. Please see attached "draft" Performance Based Work Statement for a detailed description of the work effort. The Government requests interested parties to submit a brief statement of current capability to perform these services, a letter of interest, and responses to the attached questionnaire. Interested and qualified sources should provide the following information: (1) company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, type of business and size; (2) a list of your most recent and relevant DoD or commercial contracts (not to exceed five) to include brief description, names, POCs, phone numbers, value & type of contract, and period of performance; and (3) information about your company and why you think you can perform this service.
