Description
Gym Equipment for the West Fitness Center/11 th FSS 15 September 2016 1. Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F1D3776146AW01 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13 guidelines. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-89. 2. Acquisition Details This requirement is a Woman-Owned Small Business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423910 and the business size standard is 100 employees. 3. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract for the gym equipment for the West Fitness Center at Joint Base Andrews. The following items are being procured: CLIN Description Qty Unit Price Total Price 0001 Reconfigure the existing Hussey Seating Company Maxam 26 bleachers (69'x5 rows high) into two units (47'x5 rows high). The new seat count will be 252. Once complete, there will be two complete functioning bleacher units. Relocation of existing power supply and new required power supply is not included and will be solicited for at a later date. Painting and patching of walls is not included and will be solicited for at a later date. * 1 ea. 0002 ProMats #WCHI wall pads, 2'x6'x2" high impact ASTM F2440-04 foam, cemented to 7/16" O.S.B. and covered in 14 oz vinyl. Padding to have 1" nailing margins at top and bottom for mechanically fastening to the wall, no furring strips to be used. Delivery and installation included. 16 ea. 0003 ProMats #WCHI wall pads with graphic logo. Delivery and installation included. 6 ea. TOTAL *Work to be Performed: a. Dismantle the existing bleachers b. Dispose of the existing seats and plywood decks (off base) c. Assemble/Install bleachers with the following: 1. 252 each new CourtSide XC10 seats 2. New plywood decking 3. Two sets of aisles with aisle rails 4. Two sets of self storing end rails 4. Delivery Information FOB: Destination Delivery date: 90 days after date of contract. Delivery address: Joint Base Andrews MD 20762 Contractor must provide an affirmative statement of their ability to meet the delivery requirement of 90 days after date of contract 5. EVALUATION PROCEDURES: The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation on the basis of a ' Lowest Price Technically Acceptable ' (LPTA) approach. An award will be made to the lowest evaluated offer that is technically acceptable. To be acceptable, the offer must meet the salient characteristics and conform to the specifications described herein. The government may communicate with an offeror in order to clarify or verify information submitted in their offer. 52.212-3 - Offerors Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. All offerors must submit representations and certifications in accordance with this provision along with their offer.
