- PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES APPLICABLE TO THIS SOLICITATION REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) TEMPLATE LIST OF MATERIALS STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENTS This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for which proposals are being requested. This solicitation F7RG016175AW01 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for Small Businesses. The NAICS code that applies is 327320 and business size is 500 employees. This action will result in the award of a firm fixed price contract, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures under Full and Open competition, after exclusion of sources. Requirement is for concrete and related materials, to include delivery; see attached list of materials, and statement of requirements, for further details. Note that not all of the required quantity for concrete shall be delivered in this calendar year (approximately 66 CY to be delivered in 2016; the rest to be delivered in 2017); the contractor shall price accordingly, and can break out amounts priced separately (unless planning to utilize same unit cost, regardless of delivery timeframe). The following shall be used to evaluate offers: price All materials listed are brand-name or equal. All "or-equal" submissions shall be supported by documentation that shows the alternate submitted item meets or exceeds the salient characteristics of this suggested source/item. See attached Provisions and Clauses document, which applies to this solicitation. Request for Information (RFI) template is attached to this solicitation; contractors shall utilize this document for all requests for information related to this requirement. All requests for information (RFI) shall be forwarded to the Contracting Officer via email (Gordon Strom, gordon.m.strom.mil@mail.mil ) no later than 1:00pm, 24 Aug 16.
