Description
RFQ NMFS AKR-16-0819 to provide professional services to coordinate and implement one or more projects related to arctic sustainability per the attached Statement of Work (SOW) for NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service, Alaska Regional Office. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation procurement action for the successful vendor to provide professional services to coordinate and implement one or more projects related to arctic sustainability per the attached statement of work (SOW) in the request for quotes (RFQ) NMFS AKR-16-0819 prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13 and Simplified Acquisition Procedures dollar amount threshold of $150,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 541620 and is not a Small Business Set-Aside. NOAA NMFS, Alaska Region intends to award a time and materials contract in support of the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) - University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) Arctic Policy and Governance Educational Partnership. The goal of this agreement is to implement Presidential directives on Integrated Arctic Management. Through this contract NMFS will team up with the selected vendor to coordinate and implement one or more projects related to arctic sustainability. The themes for project work will focus upon food security and governance in the arctic. Award will be made to an entity whose proposal offers project ideas that closely align with our areas of focus and the National Strategy for the Arctic Region. NOAA NMFS Alaska Regional Acquisition Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM).
