- The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Pacific intends to procure on a full and open competition basis, a firm-fixed purchase order for video electronic and news media equipment for Perry High School at Iwakuni, Japan. The detailed descriptions will be included in Request for Quote (RFQ) Number HE1260-16-T-0004. The Required delivery date is 30 September 2016. The RFQ will be posted in the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about 17 August 2016 to close 7 days after issue date. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency by the RFQ closing date. Quotes shall be submitted as specified in the RFQ. Award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 12, Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) to receive any contract award or payment. Information on SAM registration can be obtained at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Please contact SAM customer service at (866) 606-8220 regarding questions/problems. Inquiries may be submitted in writing via e-mail to Satomi.maeda@pac.dodea.edu. This is strictly a synopsis to inform industry about an upcoming requirement. The government will not respond to any inquiries received prior to the issuance of Request for Quote and no quotes will be accepted based on this pre-solicitation notice. However, please feel free to add your company's information to the Interested Vendors List.
