- Cloud Security Hardware, Software and Platform Configuration Policy Draft Statement of Work Detailed information requested from vendors This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only, and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. Please reference SSA-RFI-16-1051 when responding to this announcement. The Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking companies that have VideoPhone to VideoPhone (VP) Direct Access for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people to be able to call the National 800 Number to speak with Sign Language Agents in Call Centers. The RFI proposal should include scope and pricing for a proof of concept and potentially a pilot. The Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community are using videphone technology more and more to make their calls daily. Videophone calls are shown as live video of the person using sign language to communicate with another sign language person or talk to an interpreter to connect with hearing people. Currently, there is no videophone to videophone equipment or architecture set up for SSA's 800 Number (N8NN) Call Centers. See Attachments A through D for details.
