- RFP A16-0294 Elevated Access Management Software and all Appendices docs. Ames Laboratory is seeking proposals for Privileged Access Management Software and Maintenance as described in Appendix A - Specifications for Elevated/Privileged Access Management Tools FY2016 of the attached RFP documents. This is a request to purchase new software for elevated access management. Elevated access management software is used to allow or block users from performing administrator functions on a computer. It is important to provide only those privileges that are essential to the user's work and allow the user to function with as few privileges as possible.
