Electron Locks Sources Sought Document NOTICE: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT, A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR PART 12, THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES AND THERE WILL BE NO CONTRACT AWARD FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT. THERE WILL BE NO REIMBURSEMENT FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.). PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. Requirement: The Government is seeking qualified, experienced sources interested in providing the following items and services; a system that will produce room keys and will operate approximately 300 door locks that are already installed in 3 buildings on Maxwell Air Force Base. The existing door locks are functional and will remain in place. We are seeking a system that will produce and manage room keys for the existing locks. This requirement will need to include the purchase of the system, programming it to be used for existing rooms and buildings, training and product documentation for local operators of the system, and firmware updates to the locks that are currently installed. This system will not be connected to a network and needs to be programmed prior to delivery. The following is a summary of the services and supplies that are being researched; 0001 Onpoint Electronic Door Lock System (brand name or equal/compatible) 0002 Onpoint (brand name or equal) USB PP Cable (brand name or equal/compatible) 0003 Onpoint MAG Motorized Encoder (brand name or equal/compatible) 0004 Onpoint Rework Flash Firmware (brand name or equal/compatible) 0006 Training and Install Onpoint Encoder - 2 Days (brand name or equal/compatible) If your business is capable of meeting this requirement, please state in your response if you intend to use the given brand name or a similar and compatable product. Also, please provide the following information. (1) Company name, address, point of contact, voice and fax telephone numbers and e-mail address. (2) Type of business, (i.e., small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, Hub Zone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business, large business, etc.), under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 423690, which contains a size standard of 250 employees, CAGE Code and DUNS Number. (3) Under which NAICS code does your company usually provide the requirements described above. Please provide rationale for your answer if different from NAICS 334118. (5) Please describe any customary commercial contract terms or conditions that you feel would make any resulting contract more effective if applicable.
