- Presolicitation Notice Solicitation will post August 26, 2016 Pre-bid meeting: Yet to be determined Bids will be due September 16, 2016 The Black Hills, Northern Hills Ranger District office intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a single, firm-fixed price contract for the following bid items: -Construction of concrete ramp with metal railings -Option item 1: Construction of concrete patio The Northern Hills Ranger District office is located at 2014 North Main Street, Spearfish, South Dakota. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238110, titled Foundation, building, poured concrete, contractors, with a size standard of $15 million. Project is total Small Business Set-Aside. Contract time is 45 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Work consists of constructing ABA compliant concrete ramp. Work includes excavation, all required formwork, placement and compaction of gravel base, placement of steel rebar and placement and finish concrete. Provide, paint and install ABA compliant 1 1/2" steel pipe railing. Option Item 1 work consists of constructing concrete patio. Work includes excavation, all required formwork, placement and compaction of gravel base, placement of steel rebar and placement and finish concrete. Provide, paint and install ABA compliant 1 1/2" steel pipe railing. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, incidentals, and perform all required work in accordance to the terms, conditions, specifications, and provisions of the proposed contract. All responsible quoters will be considered for award. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) to be eligible for award.
