- This Pre-Solicitation Notice replaces the Sources Sought Notice published 8/12/16. Network Contracting Office 10 will be soliciting offers to integrate four surgical suite air handling units into the existing Building Management System (BMS). Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, supplies, equipment and supervision to integrate the surgical suite air handlers into the existing FX60 Johnson BMS located at the Illiana Health Care System, Danville, IL. Work shall include providing and installing the control system, reutilizing the current Schneider controls system as practical and upgrading with Johnson NX field controllers compatible with the current system. Request for Quote (VA-251-16-Q-0481) will be issued on or around August 15, 2016. Anticipated award date is September 12, 2016. No telephone requests will be honored. The government is not responsible to make available paper copies. Questions must be submitted in writing to the contracting officer. If contractors submit questions, they are strongly encouraged to do so within seven calendar days after the issuance of the solicitation or three calendar days after the pre-proposal site visit. Verbal questions will not be addressed. All responses to questions which may affect offers will be incorporated into a written amendment to the solicitation. Offerors are encouraged and are responsible for routinely checking the web site for any solicitation amendments that may be issued throughout the bid period. No individual notification of amendments will be provided. Offer due date and time will be included in the solicitation document. This is 100% set-aside for Small Business. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238220. The size standard is $15.0 million.
