- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE The Pike & San Isabel National Forests Cimarron & Comanche National Grasslands, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a single, firm-fixed price contract for the Proposed Versa Tower Construction Project. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) selected is 332312, titled Fabricated Structural Metal Manufacturing, and with a size standard in number of employees is stated as 500. Project is total Small Business Set-Aside. Magnitude of contract is a range between $40,000.00 and $45,000.00. Period of Performance is from the date of the Notice to Proceed for manufacturing and delivery of all structural bases no later than May 01, 2017. Contract work for this project consists of the fabrication of twelve (12) structural steel assemblies to function as the base for mounting radio communications equipment and pre-manufactured towers at remote communication sites across the Forest. This project includes structural steel fabrication per the supplied diagrams or drawings. Operations shall include certified welding, hot dip galvanizing, and the transportation and delivery of the twelve (12) finished assemblies to the Forest Service at Pueblo, Colorado. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, incidentals, transportation and perform all required work in accordance to the terms, conditions, specifications, and provisions of the proposed contract. All responsible quoters will be considered for award. Contractors must be registered in the System for award Management (SAM.gov) to be eligible for award.
