- GENERAL INFORMATION Notice of Intent for Sole Source The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central (RHCO-C), Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a sole-source bridge contract to American Medical Response of Texas Inc. to provide emergent and non-emergent patient transportation services to and from the San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) and surrounding clinics within the immediate area. The NAICS code of this procurement is 621910, Ambulance Services, and the size standard is $15M. The base period of performance is 1 October 2016 to 31 March 2017 with one (1) option period of six (6) months, 1 April 2017 to 30 September 2017. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers. Interested respondents may submit a written capability statement that will demonstrate its ability to fully perform the required services on 1 October 2016.
