- Item 0001: NSN: 4920-99-148-4329, Part Number MBEU205121, Parachute Packing Press, used to pack parachute assemblies into the head box of the US16T ejection seat for the T-6 Texan II and T-38 Talon airframes. The press is capable of generating tonnages adjustable from 0.1 to 5 tons (220-11,023 lbs). Requirement is for four (4) each. Delivery will be 270 days ARO Contract. Place of delivery is 2 each to FE3089, Randolph AFB TX, and 2 each to FE3099, Laughlin AFB TX. There are no drawings/data available. The approximate RFP issue date will be 27 Aug 2016; proposals are due 30 days after issue date, approximate response date 26 Sep 2016. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests will be honored and no hard copies will be mailed out. This acquisition is sole source to Martin-Baker Aircraft Co Ltd (U1604) IAW FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Anticipated award date is 27 Sep 2016.
