DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This project consists of maintenance dredging at various locations in Cuts-41, 42, 46, 47, 48, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54 and 55 to a depth of 40 feet plus an allowable 2-foott overdepth. Additionally, maintenance dredging to a depth of 38 feet plus a 2-foot allowable overdepth will be undertaken in Cut-G of the Back River. Material resulting from this work will be placed in Cell A of Bartram Island. Incidental work includes endangered species and turbidity monitoring. Magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The request for proposal will be issued on or about 14 July 2016 and proposals will be due on or about 18 August 2016. The award of the task order will be made on the basis of Lowest Price Technical Acceptable (LPTA). The technical evaluation factors are availability of technically acceptable plant and equipment and past performance under the Group 4 DREDGING POOL.
