- SF18 Request for Quote The USDA-ARS, Daniel K. Inouye Pacific Basin Agricultural Research Center has a requirement to purchase 4 Insect Rearing Chambers. All proposals must meet the following specifications to be considered: At least 30 Cu feet internal capacity External dimensions MUST fit through 36" doorway Termperature range 18C- 60C Humidity control: ultrasonic/dry air humidity control Lighting timer (day/night) Peltier/thermoelectric cooling mechanism for extended life Low energy consumption/LED lighting for reduced operational costs Stainless steel interior/corrosion resistant to resist breakdown associated with fruit fly rearing Stainless steel shelving Please sure to include shipping of each chamber to desination Hilo, Hawaii. An active registration in sam ( www.sam.gov ) is required for all awards.
