Solicitation Form Title: Wetland Restoration Project - Hendry County, Florida Description: USDA, Natural Resources Conservation Service in Florida is planning to restore a wetland (Aspring Easement) located in Hendry County, 17000 County Road 835 Clewiston, Florida 33440. The job consists of Mobilization and De-Mobilization, Clearing and Grubbing, Structure Removal, Excavation, Earthfill (construction of ditch plugs and dikes), Land Smoothing, Reinforced Concrete Pipe, Reinforced Concrete and Geocell Spillways, Riprap, and Seeding and Mulching. Classification Code: Y - Construction of structures and facilities NAICS Code: 237990 - Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction Estimated Price Range: The magnitude of the proposed construction job will be between $1,000,000 - $5,000,000 IAW FAR Part 36. Contract Performance: The approximate time to complete the project is estimated at 120 calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Additional Details: The solicitation is being issued as a HUBZone Small Business set aside. The solicitation package includes the specifications, drawings, maps, special provisions, Florida Wage Determinations and is being issued as an Invitation For Bid. Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit: The pre-bid conference will take place on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. - 1 p.m. EDT at the LaBelle Extension Service small conference room. The Extension service office is collocated with the NRCS Field Office in LaBelle. LaBelle Service Center 1085 Pratt Blvd LaBelle, FL 33935 (863) 674-5700 The site visit will take place also on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. EDT at the job site located at the following longitude and latitude lines off 17000 County Road 835 Clewiston, Florida 33440 and will be performed by the following NRCS staff members: Contracting Officer - Nancy Harris - nancy.harris@wdc.usda.gov Contracting Officer's Representative - Jessica Robbins, - acting State Conservation Engineer Alternate Contracting Officer's Representative - Lakelle Pritchett, Agricultural Engineer A question and answer session will be held at the tail end of the job site visit from 3-3:30 p.m. EDT, after bidders have the opportunity to walk the entire site. Longitude and Latitude Lines: 26°34'46.5"N; 80°58'56.0"W Attending the site visit is encouraged but is not required to submit a bid.
