- W912P5-16-B-0007 Specs W912P5-16-B-0007 Plans W912P5-16-B-0007 Solicitation PURPOSE: The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation to repair a section of the right descending bank of the Big South Fork River (area 1), pond remediation (area 2), and concrete lined ditch stabilization (area 3) in McCreary County, KY. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: USACE anticipates a requirement for a firm fixed-price construction contract that will involve repairing a section of the right descending bank of the Big South Fork River (Area 1), Pond Remediation (Area 2) and Concrete Lined Ditch stabilization (Area 3). The work consists of clearing and grubbing of vegetation, excavation of mine spoils and regarding as preparation for stone installation. The work will also include but not limited to, the installation of geotextile filter fabric and placement of stone protection for streambank stabilization, channel lining and step pool structures. Remediation of these project areas is intended to improve aquatic habitat conditions. NAICS CODE AND SBA SIZE STANDARD: The NAICS code for this project is 237990 with a size standard of $36,500,000. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: The solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside. SOLICITATION AND CONTRACT TYPE: It is anticipated that from the IFB Solicitation, the Government will award one Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract to the company that provides the lowest priced bid who is found to be responsive and responsible. DISCLOSURE OF MAGNITUDE: The disclosure of magnitude range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The anticipated contract period is 350 calendar days after issuance of notice to proceed. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Bidders must be successfully registered in the SAM, www.sam.gov, in order to receive a Government contract award. Bidders must have their representations and certifications available on-line in SAM or provide them with their bid in order to receive a Government contract award. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Specific information pertaining to this procurement will be available in the solicitation. The solicitation documents will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, www.fbo.gov.
