- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation(FAR) 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.. The US Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground - Installation Contracting Division, 6001 Combat Drive, Aberdeen, Maryland, 21005 intends to award a sole source contract to procure the following services: This requirement is for calibration, preventative maintenance service and repair of the following: Model 2030-Ci5000 2030-Ci5000 2090-Suntest XXL 2090-Suntest XXL LS-200 Spectroadiometer The services shall include OEM parts and the calibrations shall be done using ISO/NIST traceable equipment (XENOCAL and Software) to calibrate the XXL equipment. This service also includes upgrades and patches to existing software. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract to Atlas Material Testing Technology, LLC., 4114 North Ravenswood Avenue, Chicago IL, 60613, a large business. Hamilton is the only authorized Government reseller of SAS software and support. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 334516 and the Business Size Standard is 1000 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 12:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday, August 8, 2016. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
