- Solicitation - includes brand name part and or equal salient characteristics. NASA Kennedy Space Center (KSC) has a requirement for a brand name Paroscientific Model 745-300A (P/N: 1728-007 SCD 7831 Rev K) OR EQUIVALENT Laboratory Pressure Standard - QTY (1 EA). If providing an alternate offer, the salient characteristics of this requirement in the attached solicitation must be met. This requirement is a total small business set aside under NAICS code 334519, Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing, which has a size standard of 500 employees. Offerors shall specify their size status on their quotation for this procurement. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89 and NASA FAR Supplement PN 16-14. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12, and the simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. Offers will be evaluated on a lowest price technically acceptable basis. Please refer to page 27 of the solicitation for further clarification. Questions regarding this acquisition must reference the solicitation number and must be submitted in writing via email no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Standard, Tuesday, August 2, 2016 to the Contract Specialist, Stephanie Gvozd, at stephanie.n.gvozd@nasa.gov. Prospective quoters shall notify this office of their intent to submit a quotation. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any). Potential quoters will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this notice and amendments (if any). Quotations must be submitted to the Contract Specialist via email by 12:00 PM Eastern Standard, Thursday, August 4, 2016. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
