- Description
- For Sale - Pine and Hardwood Timber: Harvesting of selected Pine trees in Forest Record Unit #56 as specified in the Special conditions of Sale. The sale consists of approximately of the following: 1) 2,250 pine Saw Timber trees containing an estimated 730,125 board feet Doyle Scale and 2) Pine Pulpwood 376 trees and 23 cords. The timber to be harvested is located on approximately 56 acres of the East Reservation, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana as indicated on Map Drawings B17-1. A 10% bid deposit will be required with the submitted solicitation package. This agency will consider a bid from all responsible sources. The solicitation package, FA4608-16-B-0001, will be posted at the Federal Business Opportunity Website (www.fbo.gov) on or about Monday, August 15, 2016. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available; interested parties will have to download the solicitation package. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 113310 with size standard 500 people. In order to be awarded a contract with the federal government, vendors must be registered at www.sam.gov {(FAR 52.204-7, System For Award Management (SAM) - it takes 4 - 10 days to get registered)}.
