- DRAFT Statement of Work Industry Day Announcement This is an Industry Day Announcement. The purpose is to obtain market information and assess industry capabilities to help the Air Force Installation Contracting Agency (AFICA) develop a strategic sourcing strategy for the procurement of vehicle parts. The attached announcement and draft Statement of Work shall not be construed as a formal solicitation, request for quote or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any product or service. Responses are not offers or quotes and will not be accepted by the Government to form a Blanket Purchase Agreement, delivery order, or binding contract of any nature. Participants are advised that only U.S. Government Contracting Officers are legally authorized to commit the Government to the obligation of funds. This announement does not guarantee a solicitation will be issued. Submission of any information and participation is completely voluntary and costs associated with any submission/participation shall not be reimbursed by the Government. The Government will not respond to or conduct formal debriefings to businesses as part of this annoucement. The information and knowledge gained from industry will be used by the U.S. Air Force (USAF) to facilitate decision making for potential future acquisitions. For copyright purposes, participants are also advised that submitting documentation implies express permission for the Government to use the data and other information contained in the submittals.
