- Updated - Full & Open - Solicitation NOTICE DATE: JULY 29, 2016 NOTICE TYPE: PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE NAICS: 334513 - INSTRUMENTS AND RELATED PRODUCTS MANUFACTURING FOR MEASURING, DISPLAYING AND CONTROLLING INDUSTRIAL PROCESS VARIABLES CONTRACTING OFFICE: DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION (NOAA), EASTERN REGION ACQUISITION, 200 GRANBY STREET, SUITE 815 NORFOLK, VA 23510 The Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Ocean Service (NOS), Office of Coast Survey (OCS) is soliciting a requirement for the renewal of annual maintenance for Hypack licenses and tools, as specified in the attached Statement of Requirements, for a Period of Performance of October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017. Provide all labor, material and equipment, in accordance with the attached Statements of Work. The Request for Quote (RFQ) is now full & open competition. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334513, with a corresponding size standard of 750 employees. Solicitation number EG-133C-16-RQ-0712 will be issued July 29, 2016 and will close August 3, 2016 at 1:00 PM, EST. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price purchase order to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price-related factors specified in the solicitation. To be eligible for award, vendors must obtain a DUNS number (this can be done by calling 1-800-333-0505) and be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM): www.sam.gov. All responsible sources may submit a quote that shall be considered by the agency. Quotes must be submitted via electronic means (e-mail) by 1:00 PM, EST on Wenesday, August 3, 2016; any award resulting from this RFQ will be made based on the evaluation criteria specified in Commerce Acquisition Regulation (CAR) clause 1352.213-70, Evaluation Utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The anticipated award date is on or about August 15, 2016. Contractors are encouraged to register with the FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service as well as the Interested Vendors List for this acquisition (see applicable tab within FedBizOpps where this synopsis/solicitation is posted).
