- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 3, Bloomington, MN intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Other than Full and Open Competition procedures and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition procedures to University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Illinois Natural History Survey, Urbana, Illinois. This requirement is to provide science support to Upper Midwest and Great Lakes, Eastern Tallgrass Prairie and Big Rivers Landscape Conservation Cooperatives. The services consists of providing members with the latest information on research and management questions related to landscape conservation with proposal review, identifying opportunities for multi-partner initiatives related to landscape restoration and adaptation and coordinating science-driven regional conservation planning, policy formulation and restoration and management efforts. The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Illinois Natural History Survey staff help develop the science foundation organizational structure, program priorities and initial science projects of the Landscape Conservation Cooperatives. The Illinois History Survey staff continuous involvement will allow for maximum progress in ongoing initiatives and strategic planning for the Landscape Conservation Cooperatives. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 611310. The size standard is $27.50 Million. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however firms with expressed interest and capability are encouraged to respond by August 3, 1016. This notice is for informational purposes only. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
